IBM CS Description:
The CS (Certified Specialist) certification from IBM certification is a standard level certification. This certification was started in 2001, and was last updated in 2005.

A person with the IBM CS Certification (Certified Specialist) has the advanced information and higher level understanding for CS (Certified Specialist) certified professionals that can plan, design, install and maintain System x, iSeries, p5 and pSeries, xSeries, or zSeries, or design and implement IBM storage networking solutions, or sell iSeries, p5 and pSeries, xSeries, or zSeries solutions. This knowledge will include but will not be limited to the basic to intermediate tasks required in day-to-day database, iSeries, p5 and pSeries, xSeries, or zSeries administration.

IBM CS Prerequisites:
There are no prerequisites in the CS certification. However, for the CS certification you have to know all the basics of the certification.
